Ozwald Boateng x Hirsh London marks the launch of Ozwald Boateng’s first-ever jewellery collection — a bold collaboration between two British luxury houses. Fusing the powerful design language of Boateng with the jewellery craftsmanship expertise of Hirsh, the collection reimagines African Adinkra symbols through precious metals and gemstones. Each piece is a wearable celebration of heritage, identity, and emotional storytelling.

The Hope Chain bracelet and necklace is inspired by the Adinkra symbol for hope and safety. First introduced by Ozwald Boateng as a textile motif in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, worn by Queen Ramonda, the symbol now takes on a physical form in sculptural, precious metals. It is a wearable statement of resilience, remembrance and optimism.

Handmade in 18K yellow gold. The clasp is set with two round diamonds, weighing approx. 0.03 carats.

Currently available with a lead time of 4-6 weeks and also available in 18K yellow gold, rose gold, or platinum by bespoke order. Please contact us to make an enquiry or book an appointment.

Ozwald Boateng × Hirsh London

Ozwald Boateng × Hirsh London jewellery collection

In an exploration of identity, symbolism, and legacy, renowned British designer Ozwald Boateng has collaborated with British jeweller Hirsh London on his first ever jewellery collection.

This exclusive partnership marks a meeting of bold creative forces, transforming cultural narrative into fine jewellery through shared values of craftsmanship, a passion for colour, and heritage.

Celebrating 40 years since the launch of his fashion house, Boateng — famed for revolutionising classic tailoring with vibrant colour and cultural storytelling — found a natural creative home at Hirsh, a family-run atelier known for its rare gemstones and meticulous hand-craftsmanship.

“This is an exciting new chapter in my artistic journey, and it was therefore really important to collaborate with someone close by,” says Boateng.

“With Hirsh, I’ve been able to be involved with the jewellery at every stage of creation and I’m really proud of what we’ve created.”

Designed by Boateng and brought to life by Sophia Hirsh and the master artisans of Hirsh’s on-site atelier, the collection channels African Adinkra symbols and the striking Kente patterns that have long defined the Boateng aesthetic — now re-imagined into fine jewellery, created in precious metals with diamonds, gemstones and pearls.

“This collection shows how two worlds can wonderfully collide to create something unique that celebrates heritage, individuality, and craftsmanship,” adds Hirsh. “It has been a genuine joy to translate Ozwald’s vision into something permanent and powerful.”
